I totally agree with you! Unfortunately, I do not have a horse; I do not take riding lessons; and there are no stables or even horse-owners nearby, so I do not get to see horses or even muck out their stalls. But if I had to muck out a hundred stalls before I was able to ride a horse, I would do it!
