Best Horse Game out There :)

I've been playing White Oak Stables for about a year now and as someone who is around horses a lot in real life I can tell you that it is the best realistic horse game out there. Your horses die if you don't take care of them and you can buy and breed and sell horses just as you can in real life.

Unlike Horseland (another online horse game), you can't just breed any breeds together. They have to be real-life crosses, like Morabs (Morgan and Arabian), Quarabs (Quarter Horse and Arabian), etc.

You have to board your horse and feed it, tack it up for shows, and put on show clothing. The higher ranked feed/boarding stable/tack/clothing you have, the better your horse will show.

There's English or Racing, whichever suits you (unfortunately, Western isn't running yet). I tried both and found the English more to my liking, but that's just me. True, it is hard to get the hang of at first, but that's only because there are so many great features to the game!

There are a couple of WOS help sites floating around out there, and most members on WOS are more than willing to help new members.

Speaking of members, there is also a ton of player interaction opportunities with WOS. There's chat, message boards, and a mail system. This is really neat because you can interact with the other members and most people on WOS are sooo horse crazy!

In closing, I must say that if you are looking for a great online horsey game, you have found it! If you don't have horses in real life, this gives you a pretty good idea of what it's like to own them. Don't give up on WOS if it seems hard. Ask other members for help and try to pull through the tough spots. You won't regret it.
