A young girl meets a frisky stallion at an auction and persuaded her father to buy him when she tries to train it into being a fantastic racehorse. A special in the Thoroughbred series. ( I also recommend that too)

Must read keep tissues handy at the end though. Almost like King of the Wind. Great!!
