A Very Bad Ride

One day at my stable i had to train my horse Bratty. She is a Welsh Pony and is a buckskin. I haven't ridden her for about a day and i knew she was going to be really bad.

I tacked up in her in her stall so she would stay calm and she was an angel. But when i took her to lunge her and she was NO angee!!!! She was like a bucking bronco. I lunged her for an hour and she was doing good.

Then i got on her. And i hit the dust twice, then i worked her for 2 hours before stopping. I took her back to her stall, and untacked her. She was really sweaty. So I put her in the wash stall. And i turned her out to her pasture with my horse Genius who is a paint gelding (american saddlebred) and my friends horse Thunder a black TB. It wasn't the best day ever, but i did feel closer to Bratty than i ever did.

Hopefully if you keep working with Bratty you can change her name to Angel someday...!

You should never ever work a pony or horse for 3 hours!!!!!!! If your horse was sweaty just count yourself as lucky coz your horse could've caught a cold!!!!!!!!!
